We know that it is not easy to organise a large family celebration and that there are many problems to solve. Can everyone sit down at the table at the same time? Will everyone enjoy the menu? How much of what to prepare? And that's not even mentioning the hours of washing up and cleaning up after the gathering, which is sure to exhaust the hosts.

That's where we'd like to help you, so that the important family moments can be shared equally by all. We've hosted countless family events in our cosy restaurant and garden room, and we believe it's important that all members of the family can celebrate together. Birthday, anniversary, christening, engagement or graduation lunch? All you have to do is share your ideas with our staff and then enjoy every moment of the event. We can also provide a private room on request!

Our hotel's mansion-style building is an intimate venue for weddings. Whether it's an intimate family lunch after the ceremony or a wedding with dancing until dawn, we've got a garden-front function room to make it a memorable occasion. Homemade flavours and healthy dishes are guaranteed by our chefs, and prompt service is guaranteed by the expertise of our experienced wait staff. Every detail of the room layout, decoration, food and drink menu is tailored to the newlyweds' ideas, and we are also open to individual requests. After a long celebration, the newlyweds and their friends and relatives from further afield can relax in our renovated rooms.

Unfortunately, it is not only joyful events that bring a family together. After the loss of a beloved family member, the funeral pyre is a place to remember them together. In our restaurant, just a few hundred metres from Farkasréti cemetery, you can enjoy a fitting farewell in a dignified setting.

Are you often in the capital for meetings or professional events? Are you looking for accommodation for a few days or longer for your colleagues, clients or business partners? Our renovated rooms with garden views are guaranteed a relaxing night's sleep, and WiFi is available free of charge. Plus, it's easily accessible by car and public transport!

or any other event you are looking for the ideal venue. The conference rooms on the ground floor create a relaxed and cosy environment. The large hall can accommodate up to 60 people with theatre-style seating, while our small hall can accommodate 25 people in a row of chairs and 15 people in a U-shape.


Flip-chart, projector, screen, sound system. Meals and coffee breaks for conference participants will be held in a separate room or in the garden. The hotel also has a sauna and a fitness area for the comfort of our guests.

Our restaurant and quiet garden area are the perfect venue for business dinners and lunches. Relaxed environment, home-style cooking, healthy food, excellent Hungarian wines... everything we can contribute to the success of your meeting.

Training, further training, a partner meeting or a company party at the end of the year? You won't be disappointed at the Walzer Hotel. Our team is experienced in organising corporate events and always open to individual requests. Our naturally-lit rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people in a row of chairs, with flipchart and projection screens. Plus, free wifi access throughout the hotel!
